What is keypad?
A keypad is a data input device for information machinery or communication
devices which functions as a numeral and letter input for DPAs, mobile phones,
keyboards, and home phones. The demand for keypads is expanding through mobile
phone advertising which is a major part of the world's information communication
industry. These keypads are one of the core electronic components for the next
generation of communications technology.
Structure
The EL and silicon are molded with integrate structure and the EL is located in
the rear side of the key pad and the brightness is excellent. The click feeling
is excellent since the Boss and Dome are attached directly.
The LED is not radiated at the rear side of the key. The LED radiates in behind
the keys. The brightness of the whole side of the key pad is less bright. Only
certain parts have a particularly high brightness level. The click feeling is
excellent since the Boss and Dome are attached directly.
Type
The EL keypad's whole luminance side is even in comparison to the LED type. It
could show variable color, unlike the LED type. Also, it doesn't product heat.
It is available to be manufactured to the desired slimness of the keypad.
